On 30 October 2025, the Asociación Empresarial Eólica (AEE) hosted a WINd Training Seminar at the Entrepreneurship Room of IES Barajas, in Madrid, Spain. The session introduced participants to the WINd curriculum, the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), and the WINd mobile application, highlighting their role in supporting flexible and industry-relevant learning.
The seminar was led by José Manuel Melendi (AEE) and Alberto Ceña (BEPTE). Mr. Melendi presented an overview of the Spanish wind energy sector and introduced the objectives of the WINd project, while Mr. Ceña guided participants through the structure of the WINd training materials and learning modules, ranging from introductory topics to advanced technical and maintenance content.
A live demonstration of the MOOC and the WINd App followed, with participants encouraged to register via QR codes. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, focusing on career opportunities and workforce needs in the Spanish wind energy sector.
