On 10 October 2025, INNOVELA organised a National Info Day at the Odisee University of Applied Sciences, Technology Campus in Ghent, welcoming 95 participants, including Energy Technology students, professors, and trainers.
Ms. Eirini Verykiou, Physicist and EU Project Manager at INNOVELA, opened the event with a presentation on “The EU Wind Industry”, highlighting the sector’s growth and the rising demand for skilled professionals. She then introduced “The WINd Project: Resources and Outputs”, featuring live demonstrations of the WINd MOOC, mobile application, and Career Support Platform.
Participants explored the tools in real time through a hands-on session, gaining insight into the learning modules, job opportunities, and career pathways within the wind energy sector.
An engaging Q&A session concluded the event, with students expressing enthusiasm about wind energy careers and professors showing interest in integrating WINd resources into their curricula. The strong participation and open exchange of ideas highlighted the growing relevance of the WINd initiative for both future professionals and educators driving Europe’s green transition.
