      The experts of the WINd consortium have recognised the relevant skills and competencies of electricians and oil & gas technicians, which can be effectively transferred to the wind energy sector.
Presented below are the corresponding competency matrices, which detail the competence framework and job transition profiles.

      Curriculum structure
Drafting of a curriculum structure & specification of learning outcomes aiming to cover the needs of VET provision, following consultation with training, academic, and industry experts on skills complementarities.

      Learning Units
The development of Open Educational Resources which will be integrated into a modular Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), accessible through a mobile app and available in 6 languages (English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, French and Greek).

      Training Seminars
The organization of 3
pilot training seminars, aimed at upskilling >240 workers.

      Train-the-Trainer event
The organization of a train-the-trainer event, aimed at reaching and training 30 trainers using the WINd materials.

      Trainer’s Handbook
The development of a trainer’s handbook to support VET providers in integrating WINd materials into national curricula.

      Career support platform
The creation of an integrated career support platform on the project website to offer interested workers access to available job opportunities in the wind energy sector.

      Micro-credentials
The development of a blueprint
providing guidelines and steps for the design of a recognition scheme based on
micro-credentials.
